PHMSA FAQs: Mega Rule RIN 2

Today PHMSA issued an invitation to comment on its intent to collect additional information from LNG, natural gas, and hazardous liquid operators on their annual, incident, and NPMS reporting.

PHMSA's proposal primarily focuses on identifying the percentage of hydrogen gas by volume transported in a blend of natural gas and hydrogen gas and miles of pipeline segments that have RMVs or Alternative Equivalent Technology.

Operators would be well-served by tracking this information now as these topics come into focus by PHMSA and the general public.
