PHMSA Periodic Standards Update II
PHMSA published the Periodic Standards Update II Notice of Proposed Rulemaking (NPRM) in the Federal Register last week which can be located here. Proposed new versions of incorporated by reference (IBR) standards include:

Not included in this NPRM is API Std 1104: Welding Pipelines and Related Facilities. PHMSA is considering updating the IBR reference from the 20th edition to the 22nd edition. The difference between version includes substantial changes in requirements. Therefore, PHMSA is soliciting feedback on potentially making this change in the future.
